In Memory of the 24 Horses That Perished, WI On Wednesday, November 25th, 2010 in Plymouth Township, Wisconsin, Footville Fire Chief Joe North responded to a barn fire at 8:42 am on at 927 S. Old Highway 11 at the Humane Organization Rescuing and Saving Equine, (H.O.R.S.E) a nonprofit horse rescue. 24 horses perished in the fire. This Blog site is dedicated to their memorial. ReplyDeleteYou were the heart & soul of this barn, one of the originals for the family. Your health has challenged the most educated vets around and yet you turned out to be such an amazing guy! Enjoy the grasses on the other side, because you know that they were not good for your feet! But keep that weight under control Mr! Love ya Buddy. DeAnne
