KENO This is my grandson Austin with Keno. Keno is the son of Soledad Del Oeste, who also perished in the fire. Keno was born 6/19/2010. Keno actually belonged to my daughter DeAnne. His short life was full of excitement and curiosity, love and desire. He had a full passion for life. I don't know why, but God needed him. This is the only way I can make sense of the entire tragedy.
In Memory of the 24 Horses That Perished, WI On Wednesday, November 25th, 2010 in Plymouth Township, Wisconsin, Footville Fire Chief Joe North responded to a barn fire at 8:42 am on at 927 S. Old Highway 11 at the Humane Organization Rescuing and Saving Equine, (H.O.R.S.E) a nonprofit horse rescue. 24 horses perished in the fire. This Blog site is dedicated to their memorial. Each Horse is described in Cindy's own words

Baby Keno,
ReplyDeleteAlthough your life was short, you learned a lot from your best friend Brandy. And of course all your bad habits came from your mom, Sole. You have left us for another life and greener pastures. Please know that you were loved. Be free, play with your best friend and give your mamma all the love in the world. You were her only child! xoxo
This is heart breaking. I can't imagine your grief.
