This little girl was not a mini. Daisy was a dwarf that came up on a truck from Alabama. She was as cute as a button with 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye. Daisy's little legs were starting to become more and more deformed and required more extensive farrier work on her hooves but run like the wind she could. Especially when we wanted to catch her!
In Memory of the 24 Horses That Perished, WI On Wednesday, November 25th, 2010 in Plymouth Township, Wisconsin, Footville Fire Chief Joe North responded to a barn fire at 8:42 am on at 927 S. Old Highway 11 at the Humane Organization Rescuing and Saving Equine, (H.O.R.S.E) a nonprofit horse rescue. 24 horses perished in the fire. This Blog site is dedicated to their memorial.
