Sheba was a beautiful bay Arabian mare. She was sassy and full of spunk, best of friends with Sunday. You couldn't separate those two. If you took one out of the pasture, you better take both. A loyal friend to the end. Even their stalls were next to each other.
In Memory of the 24 Horses That Perished, WI On Wednesday, November 25th, 2010 in Plymouth Township, Wisconsin, Footville Fire Chief Joe North responded to a barn fire at 8:42 am on at 927 S. Old Highway 11 at the Humane Organization Rescuing and Saving Equine, (H.O.R.S.E) a nonprofit horse rescue. 24 horses perished in the fire. This Blog site is dedicated to their memorial.
