She was our baby too, we raised her from birth, with Shawnee's help. I slept on the barn floor with her for a week when she was a foal and we didn't know if she was going to make it. She was a fighter and loved life and did pull through. Again, my baby.
In Memory of the 24 Horses That Perished, WI On Wednesday, November 25th, 2010 in Plymouth Township, Wisconsin, Footville Fire Chief Joe North responded to a barn fire at 8:42 am on at 927 S. Old Highway 11 at the Humane Organization Rescuing and Saving Equine, (H.O.R.S.E) a nonprofit horse rescue. 24 horses perished in the fire. This Blog site is dedicated to their memorial.
